This form is for reporting any safeguarding concerns that have been raised regarding individuals at risk. Safeguarding is the process used to protect children or adults at risk from significant harm. If you have any welfare concerns regarding a student that are not Safeguarding please contact  Student Wellbeing directly.

As an institution we are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the welfare of children and at risk adults
  • Taking prompt and appropriate action in responding to safeguarding concerns
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies, where appropriate

At risk individuals include:

  • Children – any person under the age of 18
  • Adults at risk – any person over the age of 18 who:
    • Has needs for care and support;
    • AND is experiencing or is at risk of abuse or neglect; 
    • AND as a result of their care and support needs, is unable to protect themselves against abuse or neglect, or the risk of it.
