You might have heard people talk about how important it is to ‘develop your employability’ or ‘gain employability skills’, but what do we actually mean by that? Employability is a word often used by organisations when they are talking about what they are looking for in a graduate, in order to be willing to give them a job. It refers to the different skills, experiences and personal attributes that make graduates more likely to gain employment (and then to be successful in their job).
