Next Monday the 6th October marks the start of Leeds Beckett University’s Mental Health Awareness week – a week aimed at promoting positive wellbeing across campus and tackling mental health stigma.

The week is themed around the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ - an evidenced based set of actions developed by the New Economics Foundation

The Five Ways…

BE ACTIVE, TAKE NOTICE, LEARN, GIVE, CONNECT

'The Five Ways' are simple things we can all do in our everyday lives that can make a measurable difference to ourselves and others.

A range of themed activities will be taking place across our University this week including the signing of the Time to Change organisational pledge to end mental health stigma on Tuesday the 7th at 16:15 in the Headingley Student Hub.
