Dear student,

You may remember when you first arrived in Leeds we gave you information about staying safe, how to register with a doctor and what you might expect if you went to hospital. Sometimes it can be hard to remember all the details – especially when you have classes and timetables and lots of information that you have to manage. As I promised, we’ve arranged for this session to give you lots more information that I know you’ll find really helpful. Things like:

  • how to report an accident or a crime,
  • how to register with a doctor,
  • how Accident & Emergency services operate,
  • when you might need to pay,
  • how to stay safe

We’d like to invite you to this lunch-time briefing where we have guest speakers from the National Health Service and the Police who have kindly agreed to come in and give you lots of information and advice, please come along to the Student Union Offices in Portland Building (first floor), room 2 from 1pm-3pm. We’ll have tea and biscuits ready – and we’ll have answers for any questions that you might have. Please do try to come along – if you are an international or an EU student, you will find this session really useful.

Hope to see you there!
