What does the scheme offer?

• 50-week work experience placement for recent graduates.
• While we can give no guarantee of a permanent job we do aim to provide practical, hands-on experience and a professional development programme to provide benefit across DFID and enhance employability of the graduates who join us.
• DFID embraces the fresh thinking of graduates across the organisation and the scheme offers challenging paid (£22,000 p.a.) opportunities and a step into the development sector and working in the Civil Service.
• In keeping with Civil Service expectations on flexibility and developing potential, the scheme is marketed to provide opportunities across all sites of the organisation
