Youngtrepreneurs Network, part of the NXG Group, have launched THE START-UP CHALLENGE, a business competition for aspiring entrepreneurs aged 16 – 30 years old, which will give participants the opportunity to win upto £10,000 investment to start their own business or grow an existing one. Young entrants from all walks of life will have the chance to battle it out for a £10,000 life changing investment!

Many Yountrepreneurs have innovative business ideas but do not have the facilities to turn these business dreams into reality - this is where Yountrepreneurs Network The Start-Up Challenge Business Competition comes in. It is a fantastic opportunity for the brightest new talent to obtain financial backing and valuable great advice from experts in the business world.

If you have a unique idea and an enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit then Youngtrepeneurs want to hear from YOU! The winner of Youngtrepreneur 2018 will take home a £10,000 investment to start their own business or grow an existing one and professional guidance from industry experts.

Entering Youngtrepreneurs Network’s competition will help you learn crucial business skills from learning how to effectively pitch your idea, improving your presentation skills as well as building your confidence. Also, the competition will give you the chance to network and find professional mentors, future business partners and potential investors, vital to success in today’s competitive business world.

How to enter:

For the chance to get those business ideas off the ground,enter the competition before the 17th December 2017 by submitting a short proposal of your business idea you can start with up to £10, 000 plus your proposed returns on that investment within a 12 - 24 month periood through the ‘Submit Your Entry’ form on our website -

We will assess your application based on your proposed idea’s potential to generate a return a return on investment within 12 – 24 months. Please provide a simple breakdown of how you would spend up to £10, 000 including the returns you can make plus any additional information about yourself you feel will add to your application.You must be available to attend our roadshow event within your region as well as commit to the start up challenge stage date for your application to be considered.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to The Pitch, a Dragons’ Den style online pitch. A panel of judges will vote on the best pitches and the entrepreneur(s) with the best idea will be invited to go through to the Youngtrepreneurs Boot Camp, where they will meet the other finalists , be taught by leading entrepreneurs on business start-up and go through enterprise challenges.
