Gorilla Trek
The Gorilla Trek is an incredible opportunity to travel to Uganda this summer for 3 weeks to adventure and explore, whilst supporting development. The first part of the trip takes you to the stunning landscape of south Uganda where you will trek across hills, crater lakes and through jungle to encounter the last remaining Silver Back Gorillas in their natural habitats. After this you will take part in a volunteer project to transform an empty schools playing field into an awesome playground that will impact 1000’s of children. You will work alongside our skilled Ugandan build team and get to build the playground from start to finish, with the last day of the trip as the ultimate celebration day where the children play on the playground for the first time and you really get to see the impact you have had.
SO if this sounds like the kind of summer you would like to have next year, please come along and meet Rosie from East African Playgrounds.
