Join us on Sunday 23rd June 2019 for a Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to help raise money for the Youth Hostels Association. You will take on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough which form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The challenge will run from 6.30am to 9pm approximately, with start times between 6:45am to 7.30am in groups of up to 10 to complete this route that covers over 39.2km (24.5 miles). The event is run in aid of YHA by Carnegie Great Outdoors (CGO), part of Leeds Beckett University. CGO are committed to providing innovative learning experiences that combine adventure and education in a positive and creative environment. CGO’s highly qualified staff have extensive knowledge and expertise in the outdoors with many having led major expeditions and summited the world’s highest mountains. All leaders have mountain leader and first aid qualifications.

Registration for the event costs £20 with a recommended fundraising target of a minimum of £100. Once we have received your registration, you will receive further information on preparation for the day including a request for information on any medical conditions, your estimated completion time and if there are friends or family you wish to walk with.
