Budding entrepreneurs can win £500 by developing and pitching their own business idea in the university’s Business Start-Up competition, supported by Leeds Business School.
The deadline for entries has now been extended, giving you until Sunday 31 March to register here as an individual or a team.
Once registered, you will be invited attend a briefing session in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday 6 March, Wednesday 20 March or Wednesday 3 April, where you will be given an introduction to the competition.
Throughout the competition, you will have the opportunity to attend support drop-in sessions with expert academics and entrepreneurs who will help you to mould your idea into a solid business proposal.
Shortlisted entries will be judged by a short pitch to industry experts and academics in May, with the winners announced in June.
The competition is open to all Leeds Beckett students.
