Obtaining UK work experience as an international student
Time: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Location: Online event hosted on MS Teams
We will discuss the different ways you can find UK work experience to give you the advantage in your future job applications. UK employers want to see that you have gained transferable skills from your previous experiences, whether it is part time work, volunteering, placements, online internships and more. Join us to find out how you can use your time at university to gain UK work experience for your CV.
The Realities of Working in the UK as an International Graduate
Time: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Location: Online event hosted on MS Teams
We will discuss how international graduates can overcome challenges and how to adapt to life in their role/organisation bringing in considerations around organisational culture. During this session you will hear from international graduates about how they approach searching and applying for jobs in the UK and how they adjusted to UK workplace culture.
What do UK Employers Want from International Students?
Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Location: Online event hosted on MS Teams
A panel of employers who have experience working with international students are joining us to provide insights and advice to finding work in the UK.
Employers attending include: ICS Digital, Arma Litigation, Whitcap, CBRE, COWI UK, HAP Group, Student Circus
Please note this is an advice session and not a recruitment event. If the employers have open vacancies we will promote these after the event.
