Before contacting the University or Student Finance England, a few simple checks could highlight problems that can easily be put right. Have you:
· Received your notification of loan support from Student Finance England?
· Signed and returned the loan declaration form?
· Checked that the correct University shows on the support notification?
· Checked that the payment date on the support notification is correct ie 16 September
· Checked that all other information on your loan application (such as bank details) is correct?
If the answer to any of the above questions is ‘no’, then you will need to complete the above steps and / or contact Student Finance England on 0845 300 5090 in order to check the progress of your loan.
If all of the above steps are complete, then you will need to check that you have enrolled on your course. Contact your Student Administrator or the Student Hub on 0113 8123000 to check this.
If you have applied to Student Finance recently, they may still be assessing your loan entitlement and your loan may take a little longer to come through. You can find out whether the assessment is pending, by viewing your online account.
